Hi. I’m Prof. Bremmy & this is my son, JD.

A young boy with brown hair wearing a red t-shirt, sitting at a table with Disney Lorcana and a tablet, in a room decorated with framed artwork and shelves with plants and decorations.
A man in a gray blazer and patterned shirt is smiling at the camera, standing in a decorated room with shelves, framed pictures, and colorful LED lights in the background.

We’re the faces behind Hexwell University. Nice to meet you!

Coming from a former Magic player, I truly believe that Disney Lorcana has one of the most welcoming communities in trading card games, all centered around a truly incredible card game from a company (Ravensburger) that has proven it cares about it’s players. Disney has spent over a century crafting rich stories and unforgettable characters, while Lorcana’s designers have blended that storytelling with deep strategic gameplay and forged a game that’s both approachable for beginners yet challenging to even the most competitive players.

That’s a rare combination, and it’s why we both fell in love with this game.

I’ve heard countless stories of Lorcana rekindling a passion for longtime TCG players while also introducing an entirely new generation to the hobby. I’ve watched parents teach their children to play, friends gather around a table for the first time in years, and local communities grow into something that feels much bigger than just a card game.

At its best, every game is an opportunity to learn something new. Sometimes we’re the student, discovering a better line of play or a new perspective. Other times we’re the teacher, helping someone learn the rules, build their first deck, or simply enjoy the game a little more than they did yesterday.

That philosophy is the heart of Hexwell University.

We want to laugh over casual games with friends. We want to dive deep into strategy and celebrate every breakthrough. We want to experience the incredible stories and artwork that make Lorcana so unique. We want to cheer each other on at local leagues, dream of winning a Disney Lorcana Challenge, and maybe—just maybe—one day earn a Golden Mickey.

Whether you’re sleeving up your very first deck (that’s lesson 1: you must sleeve) or chasing championship trophies, there’s a place for you here. If that sounds like the kind of community you’ve been looking for, we’d love to have you join us.

Happy inkcasting, Illumineer.

With gratitude,

Prof. Bremmy
